Jared Bancroft - President/Director

Jared Bancroft is an IT Director for Biopharmaceutical research. His daughter Ellie received a rare disease diagnosis in 2019 which later became known as TRPM3-related neurodevelopmental disorder. He is the founder of the TRPM3 Foundation aiming to raise awareness and further research for patients and families just like his own.

Sari Long - Vice President/Director

Sari Long is a Colorado-based attorney who helps companies create strategies around immigration, Form I-9 compliance, and worksite enforcement. She serves as a Board member for the TRPM3 Foundation and other nonprofits, and she is passionate about finding resources and support for children and communities in need.

Aaron Wyand - Treasurer/Director

Aaron Wyand is a mission strategist who helps build technologies that solve complex national security problems. He previously volunteered as a Flight Officer at Virginia Airborne Search and Rescue, a 501(c)(3) whose mission included the location and recovery of missing persons with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, autism, and other disabilities.

Dr. Lena-Luise Becker, MD

Dr. Lena-Luise Becker studied medicine at the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin. During her studies, she began her doctoral thesis in the lab of Prof. Angela Kaindl in neuropediatrics. She has focused her research on epileptology and rare genetic disorders. In 2021, she and her colleagues first published primidone as a precision treatment for TRPM3 patients and has counseled patients worldwide to get access to this treatment. In 2025, they published the biggest TRPM3 cohort to help understand the phenotype spectrum and treatment options of this rare disorder. She is currently working on an international TRPM3 registry.
